Born in Santa Clara, California, I have lived in the Los Altos and Mountain View areas since earning my Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1984. With over 10 years of business and sales experience prior to launching my real estate career, my experiences have served me well in real estate. Throughout my corporate career I have been involved with various client-related activities ranging from Customer Service to a Sales/World Wide Account role for a contract manufacturing firm. There I helped to start the high speed Surface Mount Assembly line, which became the core of the company’s business. My accomplishments within the corporate business environment can be attributed to an intense customer focus and at among the top 5% of Intero Real Estate Agents nationwide. In addition to the National and California Association of Realtors®, I am a member of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors (SILVAR)® and serve as their Community Outreach Chair for the Mountain View/Los Altos District Council.
With a strong belief in continued education, I have achieved the following certifications throughout my career: Certified EcoBroker®, Senior Real Estate Specialist®, Accredited Staging Professional™ and holds the designation as Certified Residential Specialist®, a certification held by only 4% of real estate agents throughout the world.
As a long time resident, I have watched the area change and have an in-depth understanding of the community. Married for 25 years and with three children, community involvement plays an important role in my life. I have been involved with many organizations throughout the years including Mountain View Bobby Sox (both coaching and as a board member), Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County and participate in my children's school activities. For the last seven years I cook monthly for the "Young at Heart" seniors group at our church, Co-Chair our annual Realtor Service Volunteer Program that helps seniors in need of some assistance around their home and actively contribute both time and resources to the Intero Foundation helping to make a positive impact on children's lives in our communities.
